What types of cards are available?

We offer a variety of print types and card options. Flat printed cards are the most versatile:

Flat-printed cards are available on our Matte paper, which is a 120-pound card stock that comes in standard thickness (16-point) and double-thickness (32-point) with an eggshell finish and a soft cotton-like feel.

Photo cards are available on our Matte paper in both standard and double-thick, as well as our Satin paper, which is a 130-pound card stock that only comes in standard thickness (16-point) with a satin finish.

Foil-stamped cards are only available on our standard thick (16-point) Matte paper, or if the design includes a photo, our standard thick (16-point) Satin paper.

Folded cards are only available on our standard thick (16-point) Matte paper, or if the design includes a photo, our standard thick (16-point) Satin paper.

Paper sizes:

Card designs are either 5" x 7" (vertical or horizontal) or 5.25” squares.

Our envelopes match the size of whichever card you order (they measure an additional 0.25") and are made from 100-pound stock.

Response cards measure 3.5" x 4.875" and have matching envelopes.

Inserts measure 4" x 5" and do not have matching envelopes.

Our fine printed cards are printed on 100% Cotton-Fiber paper that is noticeably soft to the touch. Cotton papers look brighter than wood-pulp papers and fully absorb the impressions made during the printing process. Our color selection includes Pearl White, Ecru, Beach Glass, and Flame Red. Fine printed cards can only be printed flat and there can be no text on the back, due to the special print methods being used.

  • Full-size cards are 5.5" x 7.5"
  • Stationery, save the dates, and details cards are 4.5" x 5.9" (you will see "save the date" or "thank you" in the card name to distinguish these).
  • Reply cards are 3.8" x 5.3".

All Thermography and Engraving orders are printed on Crane's Kid Finish card stock, which is smooth 96-lb card stock.

All Letterpress orders are printed on Crane's Lettra card stock, which is 110-lb stock that has a cotton-like texture.
