How do I purchase Coins?

You can purchase coins in two ways, but we generally recommend that you get your recipient list ready first so you know exactly how many coins you will need.  Coins are purchased in packages and cannot be purchased individually.  If you have any leftover coins after you send your mailing will stay in your account for you to use at a later time.

You can purchase coins from the homepage by hovering over your name at the top right corner of the page and choosing “Buy Coins” when the menu appears.

You can also purchase coins from your Add Guests/Recipients page after you create your recipient list.  As you’re adding your list, you'll see a running total of the coins needed to send your mailing.  After you enter all of your recipients, you can click the blue “Buy Coins” button that appears (when you need them) when you hover over the "Send Now" button.

We will suggest a coin package that covers the cost of your mailing - please note that these automatic suggestions don’t take your current coin balance into account, only the cost of the mailing as it’s listed on your Add Guests/Recipients page, so you should always check your balance in the Dashboard before you make your purchase.

You can use any major credit card to purchase coins (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).  Please note that you will not be able to use any reloadable gift cards to make your purchase due to the way that coin purchases are classified on your statement.  All coin purchases are currently made in USD, which may not necessarily be your local currency.

Once you purchase coins, you will have to return to your card’s Add Guests/Recipients page and click “Send Now” to send your mailing.  Making a purchase will not automatically send your cards until you return to the Add Guests/Recipients page.  To return to the Add Guests/Recipients page you should follow these instructions:

  1. From the homepage, hover over your name at the top right corner of the screen and choose “Drafts” when the menu appears.
  2. Find your unsent card in the Drafts tab of your Post box and hover over the manage menu to the right of the card.
  3. Choose “send to guests/recipients,” to access your list again.
  4. Click the blue “Send Now” button to send your card, or click the black “Schedule Sending” link to set your card up to send at a later time.
