Unfortunately, once an email or text message has been sent, it is not possible to un-send or retract it. If you have mistyped an email address, it’s possible the mailing will bounce back, giving you an opportunity to update the address on your Manage Tracking page.
If you have mistyped an email address and the mailing doesn’t bounce back, you can also reach out to us for assistance.
If you sent before you were ready, you can still edit your card - while the static email or text message cannot be retroactively edited, anyone who clicks through to the full Card or Flyer on our website will see the most recently updated version.
There are also some additional steps you can take depending on what kind of mailing you're sending:
Is my mailing a Card, Flyer, or Legacy Card?
Flyers have a different layout from Cards — if the invitation is split into two distinct sections with editable text on the left and an animated image on the right, it is a Flyer.
You can check the top left corner of the page to tell if your Card is a Legacy Card- any Legacy cards will show the word LEGACY next to our pigeon logo.
Card and Flyer
If you sent to someone in error, you can remove that recipient from your Manage Tracking page:
1. Click or tap on the name of the recipient you want to remove to open a guest details panel.
2. Select Edit guest details, then choose Delete guest from the bottom of the menu.
If the guest was invited by sending an email or text message through our site, then they will no longer have access to the invitation, and will not included in follow up messages or other updates.
Legacy Card
If you sent to someone in error, you can remove that recipient from your Tracking page. Click on the name of the recipient you want to remove, then click “remove” from the bottom of the guest menu that appears on the right. Removing a recipient from your Tracking page will not prevent them from viewing the card link they have already received, but they will no longer be included in follow up messages or other event updates.
