Closing Rsvps

The Maximum Capacity is the total number of RSVPs that you can accept for your event.  This option is useful if your event has limited space, or if you need to stop accepting new RSVPs by a certain date.

To set your event's maximum capacity:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of your Enter Details page and toggle the “set maximum capacity” option on (it will appear in blue when it's on).
  2. Enter the number of total guests you want to accept and click “save.”

When the maximum capacity has been reached, your guests will no longer be able to submit RSVPs. When they view the invitation they will see a message that says "Sorry, this event is at capacity and is no longer accepting responses" and they will no longer be able to submit their RSVP. Guests still have the option to reach out to you with a private message.

If you have an “RSVP by” date, you can edit your Maximum Capacity on that date, and close RSVPs by setting it to the current number of guests attending.
