If you need to send different versions of your Card or Flyer to groups of guests, or copy a note to personalize for each recipient, you can easily do so by making a clone. The steps to do so depend on whether you are using Paperless Post from our website or the app.
Please note that cloning is not available for Legacy Cards - if you have a Legacy Card that you need to make a copy of, you can reach out to us for help!
Cloning a Flyer or Card (Web)
- Hover over your name at the top right corner of the homepage (or on mobile, tap the person icon in the top right) and choose My Events when the menu appears
- Find the Card you want to clone from your Recent Activity tab, Sent and Scheduled tab, or your Drafts tab (unsent cards will appear in the "Drafts" tab)
- Open the ellipsis menu (...) for the card you'd like to clone. From here, you can click Clone card to make a copy of your card.
- The Create/Edit page will open for your new clone, which you can begin to edit and save or send as soon as you are ready.
Cloning a Flyer or Card (App)

- The Create/Edit page will open for your new clone, which you can begin to edit and save or send as soon as you are ready.
Personalizing a Message
To create personalized individual thank you cards or letters, rather than everyone receiving the same card, you can repeat the steps above to create multiple clones of an individual Card.
After you finish each card design, we highly recommend that you preview the Card before you send it to your recipient - especially if you are creating and sending several cards consecutively. Previewing the Card is important because updating a Card that has already been sent (as opposed to making a new copy) will cause previous recipients to see the most recent version of the Card, instead of the message you initially intended for them.
