If you no longer need to use Paperless Post, you can permanently close your account and erase all data in your Account Settings.
Common issues that do not require account deletion
Deleting your Paperless Post account permanently erases all invitation, greeting, and recipient data and is an irreversible process. Some common issues that can be resolved without account deletion are:
- Removing an email address from your account
- Merging duplicate accounts together
- Unmerging accounts that were mistakenly merged
- Removing Apple, Google, or Facebook social connections
Requesting account deletion
To permanently delete your account:

Log in, hover over your name in the upper right corner of the homepage, and click Account Settings:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Delete My Account button

A confirmation modal will pop up. Click "Yes, Delete My Account."
- We will send you a confirmation email once your request has been received.

Didn't mean to request account deletion?
When you request an account deletion, we automatically send a confirmation email to your primary email address. From this email, you can select "Keep My Account" to cancel the request.
