Invitations sent through our site via email or text message are personalized for each recipient, and will have a unique invitation link. Although we can't prevent anyone from forwarding the email or text they receive, doing so will not allow for a new RSVP to your event. If multiple people respond using the same personalized link, the replies will overwrite each other.
However, our shareable links are not personalized per recipient, so anyone who has access to the link will be able to submit an RSVP. This means that guests could potentially copy and paste the link to share it with people outside of the initial group that you've sent to.
If you'd like for your guests to be able to invite additional guests, you have two options:
A. Create a shareable link that guests will be able to freely share with additional recipients
B. Set your total invited number as something greater than 1, so that guests can RSVP on behalf of additional members of their party. You can also add an additional RSVP question to ask guests to reply with their guest's name or contact information.
