Adding a registry link to a Paperless Post invitation is a great way to encourage guests to support aspiring newlyweds or parents-to-be. The steps to add a registry depend on whether you are sending a Card, Flyer, or Legacy Card.
Am I designing a Card, Flyer, or Legacy Card?
Flyers have a different layout from Cards — if the invitation is split into two distinct sections with editable text on the left and an animated image on the right, it is a Flyer.
You can check the top left corner of the page to tell if your Card is a Legacy Card- any Legacy cards will show the word LEGACY next to our pigeon logo.
Card and Flyer
You can add registry links to a block from the Create/Edit page of any Card or Flyer.
1. From your Create/Edit page, choose the Add blocks icon on the left side of the page on desktop, or the bottom of the screen on mobile. If you are creating a Card, you may need to scroll down to the details section below the card design before the icon appears.

3. A new menu will open on the left where you can change the heading of your registry, add an optional description, and add up to 10 registry links with room for additional optional notes underneath.
4. If you need to add more registry links, you can use the gray Add Registry button at the bottom of the panel.
5. If you need to re-order your registry links, you can use the up and down arrows in the top right corner of the gray individual registry panel to move it up or down in the list.
If you need to delete a registry link entirely, you can select the trash can icon to remove it.
Legacy Card (Desktop)
You can add a registry link on the Enter Details page of any Save the Date or RSVP event.
Whichever registry is most recently added will be the first registry shown to guests. If you prefer your registries to be shown to guests in alphabetical order, you will want to start with Z and end with A when adding registries.
To add a registry to your Card from our Desktop site:
1. Go to your Enter Details page:
2. Scroll down and click the button next to “Add a gift registry”:
3. Paste the registry’s link into the URL field, give your registry a name, and click Add.
4. Once you click 'Save' at the bottom of your Enter Details page, your registry will be available as a hyperlink for guests to access when they open their card.
Legacy Card (App)
You can add a registry link on the Event Details page of any Save the Date or RSVP event.
Whichever registry is most recently added will be the first registry shown to guests. If you prefer your registries to be shown to guests in alphabetical order, you will want to start with Z and end with A when adding registries.
To add a registry from the iOS app:
1. From your Event Details page, scroll down and toggle the button next to Gift Registry. This option will show blue when it is turned on and gray when it is turned off:
2. After toggling the Gift Registry option, choose Add another gift registry:
3. Paste the registry’s link into the URL field, give your registry a name, and click Save.
4. After adding your registry URL, you will have the option to Edit your registry name and URL, Delete the added registry, or Add another registry.
5. Once you click 'Save' in the upper right corner of your Event Details page, your registry will be available as a hyperlink for guests to access when they open their card.
