What are Paperless Post Coins?
Coins are the virtual credits we use on Paperless Post for sending invitations and greeting cards with premium elements designated as Premium Cards and Premium Flyers. You can purchase Coins on the Site and the credits can only be used on the Site. Paperless Post also has many free invitations and greeting card designs for you to customize and send.
How much do Coins cost?
Coins are sold in packages, and the price per Coin varies based on the size of the package. The price per Coin is included for your reference alongside each package. We offer 5 packages ranging from 25 Coins to 1,000 Coins.
Coins can be purchased in USD, AUD, and GBP in the amounts shown on this page. If your local currency is not available, then prices shown will be in USD.
Premium Cards and Premium Flyers can be sent to a maximum of 10,000 recipient emails per event. Scheduled Premium Cards and Premium Flyers can only be sent to a maximum of 2,000 recipient at a time.
When do I buy Coins?
You can purchase Coins at any time from the Buy Coins page, here. However, we suggest waiting to purchase until your design and guest list are finalized. That way you can ensure you purchase the best package for your event needs. You will be prompted to buy Coins directly from your recipient list if needed before sending your event.
Can I use Coins later?
Any unused Coins will remain in your account for you to use at a later time.
Per our Terms of Service, Coins are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and unused purchased Coins may be forfeited if your account is inactive for 5 years, under applicable U.S state escheat law. Unused Free Coins expire one year after being granted to you by Paperless Post.

What can I send for free?
Paperless Post offers free sending options across both Cards and Flyer events.
You can browse free invitations and greeting cards using the “free” filter available under all categories. Please note for free card offerings to be completely free to send, you may need to remove all premium options like envelopes, envelope liners, backgrounds, stamps, and/or logos before sending. Free cards can be sent to up to 50 guests/recipients.
If you choose free design options, your first 50 invites are free to send directly through Paperless Post. All Flyers offer free and premium design options, which are indicated with a Coin icon. All premium colors, styles, stickers, and backgrounds are referred to as “Premium Designs”. When customizing your Flyer you can add or remove any Premium Design. If you have already shared your Flyer with free design options chosen, premium options will no longer be available. If there are more than 50 invites on your Paperless Post guest list or you choose premium colors or styles, you will be prompted to purchase a Coin package before sending.
Does Paperless Post require a subscription?
No, Paperless Post does not require a subscription. Additionally, we do not charge any subscription or recurring membership fees.
