How can I tell if I am creating a card on the Legacy platform or the new V2 Card platform?
Look for the V2 icon in the lower left corner of your page, as seen here. If you see V2, you can refer to our V2 Pricing FAQ here.

Paperless Post offers free and premium Card designs (“Free Cards’ and “Premium Cards”). Coins are the virtual credits we use on Paperless Post for sending Premium designs. You can read more about Coins and Coin pricing here.
All Premium Cards are 2 Coins per card sent. In the design process you have the option of including additional premium design elements, such as an envelope, envelope liner, backdrop, insert card, reply card, logo and/or stamp (“Premium Designs”) to any Premium or Free Card.
All Cards and Premium Design elements are optional. The Coin prices per Card are as follows:
- All Cards: Free or Premium 2 Coins
- All Insert Cards: Free or Premium 1 Coin or 2 Coins (you can add up to 6 insert cards per event)
- Any Envelope: 1 Coin
- Any Envelope Liner: 1 Coin
- Any Backdrop: 1 Coin
- Premium Stamp: 1 Coin
- Premium Reply Card: 1 Coin
- Upload-your-Logo: 3 Coins
The total Coins needed to send to your guest list is the total Coin price of your design multiplied by the number of cards sent. Please note it's also possible to remove any or all additional Premium Design elements from any Card to lower the final Coin price to send. As you are designing, you can keep track of the number of Coins necessary to send your card with the Coin calculator in the upper right hand corner of the page (and a drop down in mobile app).
Depending on your final design, existing Coins will be deducted from your account or you may be prompted to purchase a Coin package prior to sending. For example, if your design requires 5 Coins per invitation, and you are inviting 20 recipients, then you will need 100 Coins to send your mailing. Free Card designs can be sent to a maximum of 50 recipients.
Here is a sample of a free Card without any additional premium options.
Here is a sample of a premium Card with a backdrop, envelope, and liner included. This costs a total of 5 Coins per recipient.
