It's always a good idea to preview your Card or Flyer prior to sending to check for errors and to get an idea of what your recipients will see in their inbox.
There are two ways to view a preview of your Card or Flyer to see how it will appear for your recipients. Please note that we do not currently have a way for you to preview your recipient names in card previews, but your recipient names will appear exactly how you enter them in your list. Instead you will see the name saved to your own account or "Your guest's name will go here" when previewing your design.
Previewing while editing
On the Create/Edit page for your Card or Flyer, you can click the "Preview" button with an eye icon on the top-right of the page:
This will allow you to see how your card image, envelope animation, and event details will appear from either a desktop computer or a mobile device. You can toggle the preview from desktop to mobile by clicking the phone and computer icons at the top of the page.
Previewing in your email/text message inbox
After you finish customizing your design, click the blue button that reads Add guests or Done in the top right corner to progress to the Add guests page. (If you have guests entered, this button will instead read "View # unsent invites.") From the new page that opens, click the "Preview" button with the eye icon in the top right:
From here, you can also toggle previews of how the card will appear as an email or as a text message.
You can then click the blue Email me a test or Text me a test buttons to send yourself a free test preview to the email address or phone number associated with your account. If you are viewing the test on another device, you will need to make sure you are logged in to your Paperless Post account first before opening the link.
If you would like to forward the test to someone else to review, you will need to make sure that they are first added to the event as a co-host.
The Email/Text me a test option allows you to see how the email or text message your recipients receive will appear, as well as how the event page will look. You can also preview the RSVP experience by clicking Will attend or Will not attend. Please note that RSVP responses submitted from the preview page will not be recorded.
