Once you save your design, you will be able to share a link to your invitation with guests from your own email, messaging app, or social media. If you have chosen free design elements, there is no cost to generate your invitation's shareable link. If you have chosen any premium design elements, you will need 200 Coins to share your link. If you do not already have 200 Coins in your account, you will be prompted to purchase a Coin package prior to sharing.
Please note that the Manage Tracking page is not able to track guests that you invited by sharing a link from your own email, messaging app, or social media. Those guests will only display on the event Manage Tracking page once they RSVP. If you need to track which guests have been invited or which invites have been delivered and opened, we recommend sending directly through our site.
The steps to obtain a shareable link depend on whether you're accessing our site from a desktop or mobile device, and whether you are designing a V1 Card, V2 Card, or Flyer.
Am I designing a Legacy (V1) Card, V2 Card, or Flyer?
Flyers have a different layout from cards — if the invitation is split into two distinct sections with editable text on the left and an animated image on the right, it is a Flyer.
If you are designing a Card, look for the V2 icon in the lower left corner of your page, as seen here. If you don't see V2, it's a Legacy card!
V2 Card and Flyer (Desktop Site)
If you are on your V2 Card's Invite Guests page from a computer, you can select Share link to open the options to share your V2 Card from your own email, text message, Facebook, or WhatsApp.
You can copy and paste the shareable link into any messaging app, social media, or your own email draft to share with guests from your side. Guests can RSVP after opening the link. Their responses will be recorded on the Manage Tracking page for the event.
Once an invite link is shared outside of our system, anyone with access to the link will be able to see your invitation and event details, and reply. There is not a way to see who has forwarded, shared, or opened the link.
V2 Card and Flyer (iOS/Android App)
From the Manage Tracking page on the Paperless Post app, you can select the + Invite icon:
From the Invite Guests page that opens, select the ellipsis menu:
From the options, select Share:

V2 Card and Flyer (Mobile web browser)
If you navigate to the Add Guests/Recipients page on the mobile web, you will see an option to Share link:
Click this to share your V2 Card via text message, WhatsApp, Messenger, your own email, or Facebook. If you have chosen any premium design elements, you will need 200 Coins to share your link.
V1 Card
While shareable links for V1 Cards cannot be created from your side, we're happy to create one for you. Please contact us so we can provide you an event link that you can share from your side -- via SMS, Facebook, or WhatsApp. Just let us know which card link you need.
There is no charge for a free design. Premium designs cost 200 Coins for a shareable link.
If you are sharing the link we provide you from a mobile device, please be sure to copy the link, open your preferred messaging app, and paste the link into a new message, rather than selecting one of the app options to open the link:
