In addition to tracking RSVPs leading up to your event, you can also use Paperless Post's guest tracking system to check guests in to your event, and track and follow up with attendees afterwards.
The guest check in feature is currently only available on our iOS and Android apps for our Card and Flyer invitations.
Enabling and Using Guest Check In
1. To enable guest check in for an event, you will first need to open the invitation's Manage Tracking page in your app. From there, tap the ellipsis menu in the top right corner.
2. A menu will open with additional options for the invitation — here, select Check in guests.
3. If you opt to turn it on, the check in option will add a Check in toggle to the top of your Manage Tracking page. On the day of your event when you're ready to check in events, you can then toggle this option on.
4. Once you enter Check In mode, you will be able to check off guests as they attend — you will also be able to note whether they had any additional guests in their party, and how many. If you need to review your checked-in guests, or mistakenly checked in a guest and need to remove them, you can select View checked in guests at the top of the screen. |
5. Once you're finished checking in guests, you can toggle the Check In option back off. Any guests who were checked in will now have Attended status, rather than Attending.
Following up with Attended guests
If you'd like to follow up with the guests who attended an event, you have the option to send followup Broadcast messages to just those guests with Attended status.
You can also export your list of attendees as a spreadsheet to print or use elsewhere.
