If you're working from our desktop site, you will have the option to paste all of your guests' contact information at once instead of manually adding one-by-one. From the Invite Guests page, click the Paste a List option. Each guest must have either an email address or phone number, but not both; guests with more than one contact method may be added incorrectly. The following formats are accepted:
Name <name@email.com>
Name name@email.com
Name <+12125551234>
Name +12125551234
The list must be separated by line breaks between each guest.
At this time, phone numbers are accepted only in U.S. states and Canadian provinces. If you need to send texts to recipients outside of the U.S. or Canada, you can use a Shareable Link.
Troubleshooting
If you see an error that says, "There were formatting errors in the guest information above," it means one of your guests has not been formatted correctly. Check to make sure the email address or phone number is correct for each guest, and that each phone number has a valid area code for a U.S. state or Canadian province.
Additionally, if you tried to upload a spreadsheet and there were any errors in your sheet, this copy-and-paste box will show you which guests failed to upload. Pay close attention to the "error" reason listed in the box. Once you correct any invalid contact information, you can click the "Add guests" button again to submit and create your list.
Please note that if only some guests in a couple/family group failed to upload, the rest of the group may have uploaded successfully. You should check back in Add Guests to see if you can add the failed guests directly to their group (click on a group in the list to edit it). Alternatively, you can fix the error in your spreadsheet and try uploading again, but make sure to delete the group from Add Guests first so that the complete group can be re-added correctly.
