The Maximum Capacity is the total number of RSVPs that you can accept for your event.
To set your event's maximum capacity:
1. Click "Details" on the left side of your invitation's Create/Edit page, or the bottom of the screen on mobile. (If you do not see the "Details" button, you may need to scroll down so that the text below the card is visible.)
2. From the panel that opens, ensure that Collect RSVPs is toggled on (blue).
3. From there, select the toggle next to Set maximum capacity. You can then enter the maximum number of RSVPs you would like to allow. Be sure to save any changes before closing the page!
How do I remove the maximum capacity from my invitation?
If you need to remove the maximum capacity, you can do so from your Event Details section of your Create page. Once there, scroll dow to the RSVP settings and toggle off the "Set maximum capacity" button so it turns grey instead of blue. Then, click the Save button in the upper right corner of that page.
Can I have a waitlist after my invitation reaches its maximum capacity?
We do not have a way to add a waitlist to an invitation at this time — however, you can encourage respondents who miss the maximum capacity cutoff to send you a private message to reserve a spot.
What will my recipients see once the maximum capacity is reached?
When the maximum capacity has been reached, your guests will no longer be able to submit RSVPs. When they view the invitation they will see a message that says "Sorry, this event is at capacity and is no longer accepting responses" and they will no longer be able to submit their RSVP. Guests still have the option to reach out to you with a private message.
